2 Dimantional mapping

2D drone mapping is essentially creating a flat, top-down map (an orthomosaic) from drone images — think of it like Google Maps, but custom-made, highly detailed, and up-to-date for your site.

Here’s the rundown:

 

How It Works

  1. Flight Planning – The drone flies in a precise grid pattern, overlapping photos (usually 70–80% overlap).

  2. Image Capture – The onboard camera takes hundreds or thousands of geotagged images.

  3. Image Processing – Software stitches them together into a single large, high-resolution image (orthophoto).

  4. Output – You get a 2D map that can be exported into GIS software, shared online, or printed.

Feral Pest Control

Our feral pest control services focus on controlling feral pests like pigs, foxes, and dogs. Left unchecked the pests can cause thousands of dollars of damage over night. Our service is broken into 2 parts 

  1. Tracking: we use drone technology to track and document the movements and habits of the target so we can establish the most cost effective and safest form of control.

  2. Control: this is the implementation of the chosen control method, whether it be baiting, trapping or shooting, which can be carried out by the client or by CT DRONE TECH's Chief Remote Pilot and in-house marksman.

The drone of choice for this service is " THE SILVER HAWK " (Matrice 4 Thermal) with night operations also available.
